It is a somber day in many households, for today our beloved Louis James Wheeler traveled through the doors of heaven. Louie expired around 11:30am today, after a short yet painful and difficult battle with CJD.
We ask that you pray for strength for the family during these difficult times. The funeral will be held on Friday, December 28th, 2007 at 11:00am in Albany, OR. We will post more information as it comes available.
I LOVE YOU DAD AND I WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!!! :(

Words cannot express our sadness. Please know that we think of all of you so often and wish you peace. We are so sorry for Louie's passing, but are thankful he is suffering no longer and is safe in the arms of Jesus. God be with you all. You have our most sincere sympathy. Tony and Gladys Casey
Connie,
My heart goes out to you - such a sad thing to lose the love of your life. I know that Louie died a happier and better man from having you in his life - what an example your faith in him was to us all. So unfair that he was taken just when he finally realized that God loved him no matter what and that he could forgive himself for all the bad things in his past, and look foreward to a wonderful, happy life with you.
Tammy has been such a blessing to you and Louie these past two months. I would feel honored if I met her someday.
It was so hard to read of Louie's struggles with this horrible disease, but at the same time so wonderful to read about the outpouring of love and help you found in so many places.
It has been so hard to be so far away, but please know you and Louie were in my thoughts and prayers constantly.
Those prayers will coninue for you and your family as you all face the next months of dealing with your loss.
Love ya,
Clydee
Dearest Connie:
My heart is full of caring for you. Please be sure to take care of yourself. Louie would want it that way. I am so happy that your daughter is with you at this time. What a blessing for you. My prayers continue and may God continue to be with you.
Louie will be missed by so many.
Nanc
Connie,
I am so sorry, so very, very sorry that you have lost your beloved Louie. I know that you are comforted by the fact that he is with God now, in the heavenly peace that we all yearn for. And yet his passing leaves a huge void. I am so happy that you have your family there, and your church family close by to lend you the support that you need these days. You are in my heart and prayers.
Love, Karen
